The Burrard Yacht Club has been a proud community partner of the Adaptive Sailing Association of British Columbia (ASABC) for 15 years through its annual Classic Boat & Car Show.

Community Impact
Through the Burrard Yacht Club Classic Boat & Car Show, the club has supported ASABC for more than 15 years.
In 2025, the event raised $40,000 in support of adaptive sailing programs.
- 833 sailing excursions for children, youth, adults, and seniors with disabilities
- 232 participants served through adaptive sailing programs
- 508 accompanied sailing experiences with staff and volunteers
- 123 independent solo sails
- 50 regatta sails, including participation in the Mobility Cup
- 3 Kids Day events introducing youth to sailing
Funds raised also support:
- Adaptive sailboats and specialized equipment
- Ongoing boat maintenance
- Program staffing and safety support
- Accessible sailing opportunities for the disability community
Their support has also helped us replenish our fleet.
